Dean Fathers (Chairman)
Dean Fathers has a wealth of experience in a range of organisations, from blue-chips in the private sector and national Government Departments/Agencies, to medium sized private, entrepreneurial companies. He is an accomplished Director, having held numerous executive and non executive board positions and also has international experience as an organisational change leader, working in areas as diverse as; the automotive industry, construction, distribution, education, media, retail, and pharmaceutical/health in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. Dean is Chair and Director of the Centre for Better Managed Health and Social Care at Cass Business School.
Dean lives near Lincoln with his wife Tamasin. He has five children and one grandchild and an all consuming passion for Rugby Union.
Sheila Wright
Sheila Wright is currently Director of Offender Management with the Nottinghamshire Probation Service, managing over 400 staff with an annual budget of £8 million. Sheila, who has an MA in Social Policy from Sheffield Hallam University, has also worked with the Sheffield Autistic Society and successfully acquired funding from the Local Authority and Children in Need.
Sheila brings a wealth of experience to the Board in negotiating a range of community service placements and securing financial and physical resources for offenders with different needs, as well as increasing opportunities for community engagement.
Professor Saul Tendler
Professor Saul Tendler is Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Professor of Biophysical Chemistry at The University of Nottingham and was appointed to the Trust in August 2010.
As Pro-Vice-Chancellor for both Teaching and Learning and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Saul has wide spread experience of health-related education and training. He originally trained as a pharmacist and has scientific expertise in research into biomolecular structures and their interactions. This includes studies into how simple molecules assemble in diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. He has been awarded many accolades for his research including the Pfizer Prize and GlaxoSmithKline International Achievement Award.
Saul is currently a Director of NOTICE Ltd and BioCity Nottingham Ltd and is a member of many professional bodies and research council/professional committees. Throughout his career he has worked mainly in academic positions in the field of pharmacy.
Saul is married with three children and lives in Beeston, Nottingham. In his spare time he enjoys sailing and walking the family dog.
Christine Lovett
Christine Lovett is a qualified psychotherapist with an extensive business background in the private and public sector.
In addition to her marketing and customer management skills, she brings a strong strategy background to the Board. Following her MBA from INSEAD, she worked as a strategy consultant for the Boston Consulting Group where she worked on a diverse set of projects ranging from post-merger integration to IT governance. More recently she was the Strategic Director for Strategy and Organisation Development at the National College for School Leadership.
Christine is married and lives with her family in West Bridgford in Nottingham.
She looks forward to leveraging her skills gained in a range of businesses and in the public sector in the area of mental health and learning disabilities.
