The members of an equivalent of Foundation Trust are key to its success. They include employees, patients, their carers and the general public. They will have the opportunity to vote for governors, who will have a real influence on how the Trust develops. This is why we want all kinds of people who care about the future of mental health provision in this county to join us.
What your membership will give you
As a member, you’ll be able to:

elect the equivalent of Foundation Trust Members' Council

stand for election to the Members' Council

put yourself forward as a non-executive director (including the chair of the Trust)

receive information about the Trust and its services

be consulted on plans for future development
We want to involve our members and give them as much information about the Trust and its services as possible. However, it’s likely that some people may want more information and involvement than others. That is entirely up to each individual. You can be as involved as you want - whether just receiving informaion from us about what we're doing or becoming a Governor and working with us to bring about change and work to dispel stigma - it's up to you.
