Get festive at Millbrook’s Christmas Fayre

Millbrook Mental Health Unit at King’s Mill Hospital will host a festive fayre on Thursday 9 December with special guest appearances from Coronation Street and Bad Girls star Jack Ellis and Holby City’s Jessica Punch, who are currently starring in the Mansfield Palace Theatre’s Pantomime Peter Pan.

The annual event, which runs from 10.30am until 3.00pm, will offer entertainment, arts and crafts and culinary delights to raise funds for the Millbrook Mental Health Unit and the Hospital League of Friends Mansfield and Sutton.

On the day, visitors will be able to browse bric-a-brac, handbag, jewellery and card stalls, treat themselves to a cake, find out more about mental health and how to get involved with Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, have a go at ‘Guess the Teddy’, or try their hand at the tombola or raffle.  Raffle prizes include £100 Sainsbury vouchers, a digital camera and an iPod Shuffle.  There will also be many more prizes up for grabs on the day, such as restaurant vouchers and Flower bouquets.

Entertainment throughout the day will include belly dancing by the Rosehips and a performance of Christmas songs by Farnsfield’s St Michael’s School Choir.

Everyone is welcome; just drop in to enjoy the festivities and help raise funds for a good cause.

All donations are gratefully received.  If you wish to make a donation please Catherine Cheyne, Administration Team Leader for the Millbrook Mental Health Unit on 01623 784788 or Catherine.cheyne@nottshc.nhs.uk
