Images of Nottingham exhibition opended by Lord Mayor

Nottinghamshire Healthcare, the county’s leading mental health and learning disability Trust, was delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of Nottingham to open an inspiring photography exhibition at its headquarters this week.

‘Images of Nottingham’, an exciting exhibition by photographer Paul Boast, captures the many different views and aspects of the City and its people. The series of images is being exhibited in Café Art at Duncan Macmillan House in Nottingham, a space often used for exhibitions by people who use or have used the Trust’s services to raise awareness and celebrate artistic talents.

The exhibition has been arranged to support local charity PASIC (Parents’ Association for Seriously Ill Children), which provides help and support to families throughout the region. All proceeds from the sale of any work will be donated to the charity.

Commenting on the exhibition the Lord Mayor of Nottingham said: “This is an absolutely fantastic exhibition, with some magnificent pieces of photography. It is a credit to Paul Boast and the exhibition provides an important opportunity for people to recognise the work that he does.”

Paul Boast, photographer, said: “I would like to thank the Lord Mayor of Nottingham, as well as Penny Coulson and Kate Deamer from the Trust’s Arts in Health team, for all their support and hard work with this exhibition. Nottingham has given me a lot of opportunities and I wanted to focus on the area because of this. I also chose the charity PASIC as it is a Nottingham based organisation and is a very worthy cause.”

The ‘Images of Nottingham’ exhibition will be open from Monday to Friday until June.
