Trust hosts Macmillan Big Coffee Morning

Nottinghamshire Healthcare’s Hotel Services are hosting a Macmillan Big Coffee Morning on Friday 26 September, 10.00am – 1.00pm, in the main entrance of Millbrook Mental Health Unit in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Delicious home made cakes, a selection of hot and cold drinks, a clothing stall, tombola, raffle, and a range of games and competitions will all be on offer.

The fundraising event which aims to help people living with cancer is being held in memory of a member of staff, Helen Foster, who sadly passed away in July this year. Helen had been a catering assistant in the catering department at Millbrook Mental Health Unit for the past 14 years.

Sarah Campbell, Hotel Services Coordinator, says: “This is a great and fun way to help raise important funds to support people living with cancer. We have a range of activities taking place during the coffee morning and all are very welcome to join us.

“On behalf of Hotel Services and Helen’s family, we would very much like to thank and acknowledge the generosity of colleagues, friends and family of Helen for their donations and help on the day. We would also like to acknowledge the following suppliers for their generous donations: Hakens Sandwiches, 3663, Midland Catering, G W Price, Allen Vending, Julie’s Flowers, and Lillie’s.”
