Rampton Hospital receives improved audit score

Rampton Hospital has received an excellent score of 95% in a recent audit by the Prison Service, which looked at the risk reduction and containment procedures in place in the Hospital.

The high secure hospital near Retford, which is managed by Nottinghamshire Healthcare, received a 2% increase on last year’s rating.

Lee Brammer, Head of Security at the Hospital is delighted.  He said:  “Good security is paramount in order to ensure the safety of our patients and staff and the public.  I am so pleased that everyone’s efforts to achieve such high standards of security within the Hospital have been reflected in this excellent score.  By working to reduce risk, we can provide a safe, therapeutic environment which enhances the effective care, treatment and recovery of our patients.”

Each year an action plan is developed to address areas of improvement.  This year Rampton Hospital will look to further improve its performance in searching, risk assessments and vehicle management.
