Rampton Hospital scores highly in security audit

Rampton Hospital has received an excellent score of 98% in a recent audit by the Prison Service, which looked at the risk reduction and containment procedures in place in the Hospital.

The high secure hospital near Retford, which is managed by Nottinghamshire Healthcare, has once again increased its rating from the previous year.

Lee Brammer, Head of Security at the Hospital said:  “We are delighted with this result.  Good security is paramount in order to ensure the safety of our patients, staff and the public.  By working to reduce risk, we can provide a safe, therapeutic environment which enhances the effective care, treatment and recovery of our patients.”

Each year an action plan is developed to address areas of improvement and this year the Hospital will look to build on the excellent practice identified by the audit.
