Swine Flu - Statement of Readiness

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is in a strong position to respond to any disruptions caused by Swine Flu and to ensure the continuity of care for our patients and staff during this time.

The Trust has worked closely with its partners and staff to prepare for a pandemic flu outbreak and has put full measures in place to ensure preparedness for every event, including the anticipated operational pressures throughout the autumn and winter due to the expected resurgence of Swine Flu.

The Trust has comprehensive and ratified Pandemic Influenza Plans at Trust-wide and Directorate levels, which are reviewed regularly to reflect new Department of Health policy and guidance, and we are confident that we can continue to provide the highest quality of care to the people who use our services.

Further information about the Trust’s plans are available on the bottom of this page or can be obtained by contacting the Trust’s Emergency Planning Department on 0115 969 1300.
