Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act came into effect on 1 January 2005. Freedom of Information gives people the right to request information held by public bodies with the aim of providing openness and transparency in the public sector.

Under section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we have a duty to produce a Publication Scheme.  A Publication Scheme is a complete guide to information routinely published by a public organisation.  Our Publication Scheme can be found at the bottom of this page.

The links below provide information published as part of this Publication Scheme, however if you are unable to find the information you require please use the search facility above.

If you are still unable to find the information that you require please complete and submit a Freedom of Information request form.

You will find various information contained within the classes of information listed below:

  1. Who we are and what we do

  2. What we spend and how we spend it

  3. What our priorities are and how we are doing

  4. How we make decisions

  5. Our policies and procedures

  6. Lists and registers

  7. The services we offer
