Section 16 - Health and Safety Policies

The Health & Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations require that employers protect all people at work and others not at work including Service Users and the general public. Employers are required to assess risks and take positive measures to promote health and safety at work.

The following policies sets out the organisational arrangements and general advice to enable the Trust and staff to comply with these responsibilities and legal duties imposed by health and safety legislation.  The purpose of these policies and procedures is to promote behaviour and practices which minimise danger for all staff, service users, visitors, contractors and the general public through the activities of the Trust.
