Changes at The Health Shop
From 3 September 2018, The Health Shop will move and there will be some changes to the services offered.
The Health Shop will be based at The Wellbeing Hub on Hounds Gate.
The following sexual health services will be provided:
- sexually transmitted infection and blood borne virus testing and treatment
- hepatitis B vaccinations
- contraception including emergency hormonal contraception (the morning after pill) and condom distribution
Specialist drug harm reduction will be provided through outreach. Information about these sessions will be available on www.nottinghamshirehealthcare.nhs.uk/the-health-shop.
There will not be a needle exchange at The Wellbeing Hub. This will be provided through outreach, and local pharmacies will be supported to increase their knowledge around all aspects of substance and harm reduction.
