The Big Give – One donation. Twice the impact
Between Tuesday 27 November – Tuesday 4 December, we are taking part in the Big Give’s #ChristmasChallenge to raise funds to create a school garden for children and young people who are inpatients at Hopewood.
We want to raise £12,000 to fund playground surfaces, sports equipment, plants and horticultural equipment for up to 40 resident patients who are receiving their education on site at Hopewood’s specialist education unit.
The garden will give young people experiencing mental ill health the opportunity to learn more about gardening and nature, in a safe outdoor environment, which has been proven to have a profoundly positive impact on their recovery.
