Who are we?
The Health Trainer Service is available for everyone over the age of 18 and helps people to make small changes that can have a huge impact on improving their lifestyle. The main topics a Health Trainer covers are;
• Healthy eating
• Becoming more active
• Stopping smoking
• Cutting down alcohol consumption
• Confidence building and motivational help to make people feel happier and healthier.
How can we help?
A Health Trainer can talk to groups, organisations or individuals about how they can make important lifestyle changes.
One-to-one visits can be arranged at home or in GP practices. The support given is through a personal health plan for the specific person, designed around their needs, setting goals and procedures to achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Group talks can be suited to fit the right environment and can cover all aspects of healthy living or can be designed to fit a certain topic (e.g. healthy eating, smoking etc)
How can you contact us?
