Darwin Ward

Long Term Rehabilitation Low Secure Hospital Care

Darwin Ward is a 17-bedded unit.  It offers treatment and rehabilitation programmes for patients with complex needs and risk profiles that requires slow pace rehabilitation setting them on a road to recovery; ultimately in preparation for a life in the community.

The philosophy of Darwin Ward is to promote activities on and off the ward to enhance personal, social and living skills. Its principles are based on recovery in all aspects of patient care and treatment. The wellbeing of patients is a priority that in turn creates a positive environment.

Darwin Ward involves the patient and opens new beginnings for them.
