Belonging DVD
The Trust’s Learning Disability Service is breaking new ground. Like other services we aim to help people become as autonomous as possible, but we balance this by also aiming to improve each person’s sense of belonging. Not just to the mainstream but to anything that enhances their well-being. Usually belonging involves being a member of a social group, but a sense of belonging may also come from going regularly to familiar places, or regularly taking part in familiar activities. View the Belonging DVD to see how our staff use their specialist skills to help people to belong.
