Some of the Community Support Services available to users of our Learning Disability Services are as follows:
- Horizon Day Centre, Highbury Hospital: A health provided day centre which provides day activities to people with a range of complex and multiple needs for up to 25 individuals.
- Flexible Day Services, Broad Street, Nottingham: Providing one-to-one support to clients to access a range of day activities in mainstream services in the community.
Holly Lodge, Newark: 28 place day service providing services to people with a range of challenging behaviour and complex needs.
Mansfield Day Services consists of two units in Mansfield: a day facility which provides services to people with a range of challenging behaviour and complex needs, for up to 35 service users. The service includes meeting the needs of those with additional physical disabilities.
Occupational Therapy, co-located within 10 Community Learning Disability Teams (CLDTs): Provides a range of occupational therapy services across the 10 CLDT areas and within in-patient and day care services.
Music Therapy, Horizon Day Centre, Highbury: Provides music therapy interventions to a small number of community and in-patient clients.
Physiotherapy: Providing a range of physiotherapy services across the 10 CLDTs in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire within in-patient and day services.
Short Breaks are located at Hucknall House, Highbury Hospital; and Newlands, Newark. Modernised services, whereby Adult Social Care and Health provide short breaks supported by co-located specialist health staff, are sited at Kingsbridge Way, Nottingham, Holles Street, Worksop and Helmsley Road, Mansfield.
