The medical team supporting the Directorate are led by the Directorate’s Clinical Director and include Consultant Psychiatrists who are responsible for locality areas. They are part of the Community Learning Disability Teams (CLDTs) as well as providing inpatient and outpatient services. All inpatients are admitted under the care of a Consultant Psychiatrist.
The medical team accept referrals from General Practitioners, members of the CLDTs, secondary health services and are based in varying locations throughout Nottinghamshire.
