John Storer Clinic, Community Drug Team, is the out-patient community base which offers a comprehensive treatment service for clients who have a drug related problem. The clinic offers a wide range of treatment options providing individualised based care, based on their individual needs. A range of prescribing options are offered, which include detoxification, stabilisation and harm minimisation base prescribing. The services compromises nurses, social workers, doctors and substance misuse specialists all of whom hold accredited qualifications in the specialist field. The service has strong links with all other drug and alcohol treatment services in Nottingham. The service delivers treatment in accordance with the national guidelines; Drug misuse and dependence, UK guidelines on clinical management.
Who they see
Any individual aged 18 and over with drug problems.

• Individualised treatment packages utilising abstinence and medicated assisted recovery

• Blood borne virus screening and immunisation
• On-site Hepatology treatment
• Asian Substance Misuse Worker

written referral to John Storer Clinic team (address above).
