Executive Mentoring Scheme
The Trustwide Executive Mentoring Scheme was launched in August 2011, building on the tremendous success of the Chief Executive Mentoring Scheme and the Executive Mentoring Programme which focused on Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) colleagues.
The scheme has now been extended to include all groups who are currently under-represented in more senior roles in the Trust, whilst still retaining a focus on BME staff. It offers mentees the opportunity to be mentored by an Executive Director or trained mentor and to experience a number of career development opportunities (e.g. shadowing of Executive colleagues and attending high level meetings, including the Trust Board) to inspire staff to reach their true potential.
Since the first incepton of the Mentoring Scheme in 2007, the Executive Graduates have continued to grow from strength to strength.
