We aim to provide trainees with excellent training and support them in their development to become future clinical leaders. There is an opportunity to training across a wide range of Psychiatry specialties including General Adult, Child and Adolescent, Older Adult, Perinatal, Rehabilitation, Substance Misuse, Liaison, Eating Disorders and Forensics. There is also an opportunity to gain experience in Psychotherapy across the different locations of the Trust, providing trainees ample scope to meet their training needs in in this field.
The Trust manages two medium secure units, as well as the high secure unit, Rampton Hospital. This provides core trainees, as well as both General Adult and Forensic Specialist Tainees, invaluable opportunities to gain experience in Forensic Psychiatry.
