Only visit your local Emergency Department for serious life-threatening conditions that need immediate medical attention including persistent severe chest pain, loss of consciousness, acute confused state, severe breathlessness, severe blood loss, serious burns or suspected stroke.
Alexander House Locked Rehabilitation Service
We are a locked unit for men with intellectual disabilities who are on a section of the mental health act and need a period of rehabilitation. We help patients to return to less restrictive community services. Patient usually stay with us for 12-18 months.
Accessing our services

How to refer someone to this service
Contact the unit and ask to speak to the management team who will forward you a copy of the referral proforma if appropriate.
