Only visit your local Emergency Department for serious life-threatening conditions that need immediate medical attention including persistent severe chest pain, loss of consciousness, acute confused state, severe breathlessness, severe blood loss, serious burns or suspected stroke.

Gender Pay Reports

From 6 April 2017 all employers in Great Britain with more than 250 staff are required by law (under the Equality Act 2010) to publish key gender pay information annually on their own website and on a government website. This information includes:

  • Gender pay gap (mean and median averages);
  • Gender bonus gap (mean and median averages);
  • Proportion of men and women in each quartile of the organisation’s pay structure;
  • Proportion of men and women receiving bonuses.

There is also a requirement to provide a written statement confirming that the calculations are accurate. This must be signed by an appropriate senior person, such as a Director or Chief Executive.
