
MMR is a safe and effective combined vaccine that protects against 3 separate illnesses – measles, mumps and rubella (German measles) – in a single injection.
The full course of MMR vaccination requires 2 doses.
If your child is in School Year 8 or 9 you can complete a consent form and then contact the SAIS team to book in to a clinic.
It's important to check you've had both doses especially if you:
You must complete one online consent form for each young person.
It is important everyone has a completed form which states if you would like them to receive their MMR vaccine.
Before completing the consent form you will require a code for your child’s school.

We are a team of skilled and experienced nurses and support staff. The MMR vaccine will be given as an injection in your upper arm so children will be asked to wear short sleeved tops on vaccination day.
