Help in a crisis and visiting information during the COVID-19 pandemic

During this COVID-19 pandemic there may be changes in the way some of our services work. Contact the service directly to check how services are being delivered and follow their advice.

Some of our services now offer video consultations. You should speak to your clinician if this is something you would like them to consider. You can find out more about video consultation here.

Contact the ward you wish to visit in advance for guidance and instructions for a safe visit.

If you need help in a mental health crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic outside office hours please contact our crisis team: Help in a crisis

For other medical advice and support contact your GP or visit NHS 111

Only visit your local Emergency Department for serious life-threatening conditions that need immediate medical attention including persistent severe chest pain, loss of consciousness, acute confused state, severe breathlessness, severe blood loss, serious burns or suspected stroke.

Let’s Talk – Wellbeing is no longer provided in Newark and Sherwood and Mansfield and Ashfield. Another provider is available, Insight Healthcare, who already provides services in these areas.

Please note we are still open and working however due to the COVID-19 situation our therapy delivery model has changed to either telephone, online or video conferencing.

How to refer

You may be eligible for help if you are aged 18 or over and registered with a GP practice in Nottingham or parts of Nottinghamshire. You can self-refer by one of the options below or alternatively contact your GP who may arrange a referral to Let's Talk-Wellbeing.

Support we offer

Let’s Talk – Wellbeing provides a range of talking therapies, groups and computerised self help materials to treat mental health difficulties that affect 1 in 4 of us at some time in our life. Find out more about the different support we offer here Support we offer.

What will happen once I have been referred?

Once we receive your referral we will contact you with information about your first appointment.

The first appointment is generally completed on the phone, and your Let's Talk - Wellbeing therapist will work with you to understand what the problem is and to agree the next steps. Together, you and your therapist will plan a programme of support and self-help activities that match your individual needs.
