Short Stay Reablement Unit
We provide patients with short term rehabilitation. Our therapy led unit has 23 beds, and is housed within a new care home.
The service provides exercises to improve mobility, self-care and muscle strength. We help patients regain their independence, so that they can return to live at home or in their usual care home. Patients will be fully involved in the planning of their goals and personal exercise programme.
Patients can stay in the unit for up to 14 days. After discharge, patients who still need rehabilitation will have it in the community.
