Worksop Campus, Portland Pathways Recovery College

Portland Pathways is part of Portland College and has offices in central locations in Worksop. Based out in the Community, the Team support local people into employment by helping identify key barriers that they are facing, for example, depression, anxiety, stress and a lack of work experience. The Team then work with individuals to help them to address these barriers.

As part of the Programme, The Nottingham Recovery College is working with the Portland Pathways Team to deliver the "Recovery College Pathway" - a 5-week course that will help individuals better understand their own mental health, and help to develop ways for people to manage their own wellbeing and resilience, therefore getting the most out of the opportunities available to them.

Our Recovery College Course will help you look at any health barriers you may face, and offering non-judgemental hints and tips to help manage your mental wellbeing and includes various topics including:

  • an increased understanding of health barriers
  • self-management techniques for stress, anxiety and depression
  • budgeting
  • positive ways to manage change
  • and more!
