Young People’s Substance Misuse Service
The Young People’s Substance Misuse Service provides information, advice, support and treatment for young people up to 18 years old with drug and/or alcohol problems in Nottinghamshire. The service aims to support substance users to achieve their goals in relation to managing their substance use.
The service will listen to you about your current difficulties around drugs and/or alcohol and help you think about how your difficulties can best be addressed.
The help offered may include: advice about reducing your drug use and/or alcohol intake; support and advice about any health issues; individual treatment to support you in relation to your substance use goals; support accessing other services which may help you; support and advice about other issues to help you stop taking substances.
Service opening hours
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Accessing our service
Young people can contact the service directly or alternatively ask their GP or other health professional to make a referral to our service. The service will then contact you to arrange your first session which will last around 30 minutes.
