Only visit your local Emergency Department for serious life-threatening conditions that need immediate medical attention including persistent severe chest pain, loss of consciousness, acute confused state, severe blood loss, serious burns, suspected stroke.
Bassetlaw Respiratory Matron Service
We provide care and support to patients with complex respiratory conditions. These include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiectasis and pulmonary hypertension.
A community spirometry service is also available for patients who are housebound but need spirometry. You can find out more about spirometry here.
Accessing our service
All patients must be registered with a Bassetlaw GP.
We are based at Retford Primary Care Centre. The service is available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, excluding bank holidays.
