Get ready to embrace the Christmas spirit at Wathwood Hospital’s annual Christmas craft fayre! This year, they are bringing even more festive cheer, delicious treats, and unique handmade gifts to the Café and Courtyard on Saturday 7 December, from 10am to 2pm.
The Christmas craft fayre is the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season. As you wander through the beautifully decorated courtyard, you’ll be surrounded by the sights and sounds of Christmas. Discover a variety of stalls offering handcrafted gifts, ornaments, and festive decorations, all lovingly made by local artisans. Whether you're looking for the perfect present or something special to add to your home, you’re sure to find it here.
A visit to Wathwood isn’t complete without saying hello to the friendly farm animals! The resident donkeys, alpacas, pigs, and goats are eager to meet you and add a touch of rural charm to your day. It’s a delightful experience for kids and adults alike, making this event truly family-friendly.
Take home a piece of the magic with a freshly cut Christmas tree, available for purchase on the day. There’s nothing quite like the scent of a real tree to bring the festive season to life in your home. All trees are locally sourced and freshly cut, so you can be sure they’ll last throughout the Christmas season.
There will be Christmas music playing throughout the day, including live carol performances by ‘Social Eyes,’ a local community day service. Their heart warming renditions of your favourite carols will fill the air with joy and make your visit even more special.
Not only will you have a fantastic day out, but by attending the Christmas craft fayre, you’ll also be supporting a wonderful cause. All monies raised from stall fees, food and drink sales, and Christmas tree purchases will go directly towards funding patient and ward activities at Wathwood Hospital. These funds help provide enriching experiences and therapeutic activities that make a significant difference in the lives of our patients.
Admission is completely free, making this the perfect day out for families, friends, and anyone looking to get into the Christmas spirit.
Mark your calendars, gather your loved ones, and join us for a day of festive fun and community spirit.
