Improving Care Together Plan

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is ambitious about driving change and improvement for our patients, carers, families and local communities.

The Improving Care Together plan outlines the Trust's mission and commitment to strengthening meaningful participation across the organisation, detailing the ways in which we will tackle health inequalities, improve the quality and safety of our services and deliver care with compassion.

As an NHS Foundation Trust, we have a legal duty to engage with the public and involve our patients and their families in their care. However, we want to go far beyond this requirement and ensure that from service development to strategy and policy, genuine and meaningful participation is embedded into everything that we do.

This plan will develop and evolve by listening to feedback from our communities, our patients, their families, our partners and colleagues. We want to inspire and support you to get involved and be a part of the change to ensure your NHS services are the best possible.

The Involvement, Experience and Volunteering team looks forward to listening to and working with you to turn this plan into a force for change.
