How to find our patient information in the NHS App

The NHS App is a secure way to access our library of patient information leaflets and videos with your smartphone, tablet or computer through Patients Know Best.

 

Part 1: Get started with the NHS App

Before you can see our library, you must have the NHS App set up on your smartphone or tablet. If you need help with this, please use these official NHS guides:

If you do not have a smartphone, you can use a computer to log in.

 

Part 2: How to find our Patient information library

Step 1: Open and log into the NHS App on your smartphone or tablet.

When logged in, you should see a screen similar to this.

Step 2: Scroll down the screen to the 'Your health' section and tap 'Track and manage your health'.

Step 3: On the next screen tap 'View links from your health team'.

Step 4: Tap 'Continue' to access the 'Patients Know Best' system.

Step 5: You should now be able to see the library of patient information provided by Nottinghamshire Healthcare.

There are folders for the different services we provide. Find the service you are with to access their library of information.

You may be able to see libraries from other healthcare providers. This might include your GP or another hospital where you have had care or treatment in the past.
