  • Redwood 1 (AMH male ward) and Redwood 2 (AMH female ward) Willows PICU (AMH male psychological intensive care unit).

 

Sherwood Oaks

  • AMH Sherwood Oaks Peripatetic shifts - staff that book this roster, will be redeployed on any of the below wards.
  • Beech Ward (AMH female ward) and Fir Ward (AMH female ward) Cedar Ward (AMH Male Wards) and Elm Ward (AMH Male wards) Acorn (AMH 136 Suite).
  • Bracken House (AMH locked rehab unit for men and women).

Forensic Services

Forensic Services is mostly made up of high, medium and low secure units and Offender Health, but also covers some community services.

Rampton High Secure Hospital, near Retford

Provides a therapeutic psychiatric service for individuals with complex mental health problems who have been detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 and present a severe risk to themselves or others.

Rampton is made up of several care streams encompassing the following:

  • Mental Health
  • Psychological Disorders
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Women's Services

Arnold Lodge Medium Secure Unit, Leicestershire

Provides inpatient treatment and care for adults with complex mental health problems who have been in contact with the criminal justice system and who present serious risk to themselves or others, combined with the potential to abscond.

  • Male Mental Illness Service - providing admission and assessment and continuing care and rehabilitation
  • Male Personality Disorder Services - providing a treatment programme for patients from prison, and high secure services
  • Women's Services - providing standard and enhanced medium secure services.

Wathwood Medium Secure Hospital, Rotherham

Provides inpatient treatment and care for adults with complex mental health problems who have been in contact with the criminal justice system and who present serious risk to themselves or others, combined with the potential to abscond.

Wathwood Hospital provides medium secure inpatient services to male adult patients with mental disorder, offering assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.

The hospital includes assessment, continuing care and rehabilitation wards along with various educational and therapy services.

Wells Road Centre, Nottingham

Provides inpatient treatment for patients with serious mental health conditions, usually with complex co- morbidities and who require the provision of security.

Wells Road Centre provides low secure inpatient services to adult men and women with mental disorder and for men with a learning disability.

 

 

Community Services

Community Services covers a variety of general health teams working in the community, and some hospital sites.

Care closer to home is becoming integral to the future of the NHS and the Community Health Services (CHS) Division of NottsHC are at the forefront of this exciting journey. Working with our system partners in creating collaborative ways to improve physical health care services, activities and interventions in local communities, which meet the needs of our patients in the places they call home.

The division operates under three Units of Management providing an extensive portfolio of children's, adults and specialist services, covering a vast geographical area. We offer various clinical and non-clinical roles, working within supportive teams that encourage us all to work to the best of our abilities to provide the highest quality care.

The main hospital site is Lings Bar Hospital, a rehab and assessment hospital for older adults, including:

  • Forest Ward
  • Castle Ward
  • John Proctor Ward

 

 

Corporate Services

Corporate Services includes, Finance and Procurement, Estates and Facilities, People and Culture, Partnerships and Strategy, Corporate Affairs, Digital, Quality and Performance. There are range of administrative roles within the corporate functions.
Corporate services offer a wide range of generic and specialist support and advice and include services such as:

  • Finance, procurement, estates and performance which is managed by the Executive Director of Finance and Estates.
  • Medical and clinical leadership is provided via the Executive Medical Director.
  • Professional leadership to nursing and allied health professionals with a continued focus on quality, clinical governance and patient involvement is overseen by the Executive Director of Nursing, AHPs and Quality.
  • The Executive Director of People and Culture leads on workforce and organisational development, human resources and equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • The Executive Director of Partnerships and Strategy leads on developing and strengthening both internal and external relationships, partnership working and health informatics.
  • The Chief Executive provides overall leadership to the organisation and leads the teams focusing on corporate governance and communications.
