Service changes and visiting during the COVID-19 pandemic

During this COVID-19 pandemic there may be changes in the way some of our services work. Contact the service directly to check how services are being delivered and follow their advice.

Some of our services now offer video consultations. You should speak to your clinician if this is something you would like them to consider. You can find out more about video consultation here.

Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care Team

We are a modern, diverse and multi-faith team, providing pastoral, spiritual and religious care to inpatients across the Trust.

We are not here just for religious purposes and you do not need to be religious to get in touch. We help care for people who have a particular faith as well as those with absolutely no faith at all and everyone inbetween. It may be that you would simply like somebody to talk to and have alongside you in your journey of recovery.

If you would like to receive support, we can provide or seek somebody of your particular faith. Our team includes spirituality and wellbeing practitioners for non-religious support and activities.

We can accept referrals from patients themselves, or their family members, friends and healthcare professionals. If you are referring somebody else, we cannot discuss anything regarding their care with you, but we will check if they would like our support.

We will always do our best to offer the right support and resources, based on individual needs. We can also offer the same support to Trust staff, who can refer themselves or be referred by a manager or colleague.
