Specialist Continence Advisory Service
We offer a confidential continence service for people aged over 18 who have complex bladder and bowel problems. Our specialist nurse-led clinics are held in a variety of community settings.
We provide high-quality assessments to understand the cause of a problem and offer a range of treatment options to help people manage their condition independently. When we identify that someone has more complex needs, we work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide extra support and arrange further referrals where needed.
We have produced a comprehensive range of leaflets to support continence treatment programmes. These are designed to reinforce information and guidance given by health professionals to patients and/or carers to empower and promote self care.
