Hopewood

An open seating area inside Hopewood Welcome to Hopewood, our purpose built facility for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Perinatal Services.

Hopewood provides support for adolescents, pregnant women, and women with a baby up to one year old who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

Our CAMHS Services provide community services, where most young people needing our support are seen, as well as specialist inpatient beds for those whose mental health difficulties can no longer be managed in the community.

Our Perinatal Services also provide accredited community services, where most women are seen, as well as specialist inpatient beds for women whose mental health difficulties can no longer be managed in the community.

Hopewood provides 40 specialist inpatient beds, this consists of 32 beds for CAMHS and 8 beds for our Perinatal Services. With over twice as many beds than previously available, Hopewood means more young people and women can be treated locally, staying close to home.

A homely room with a crib in the Mother and Baby Unit Hopewood includes the first dedicated specialist eating disorders inpatient service and first psychiatric intensive care unit for young people in the East Midlands. Our accredited inpatient perinatal services are nationally recognised. In addition, Hopewood is home to a range of community CAMHS and perinatal services.

Our dedicated and specialist staff provide the highest quality care in facilities designed with patients, their families and staff. Together we created the modern, warm and welcoming environment that is Hopewood – a place of support, hope and recovery.
