These Easy Read leaflets are designed to help service users and patients understand important health information.
The leaflets are not intended to replace a conversation with the service user or patient and should always be shared as part of a discussion.
It is important that the information is properly explained and understood.
- A member of staff, a support worker, a relative, or a parent should go through the leaflet with the service user or patient.
- The person providing support should clearly explain what the words and pictures mean.
- They should check that the service user or patient understands the information being shared.
More health information can be found on the Easyhealth website.
