Our Strategy: Making a Difference
At Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, everything we do is about making a positive difference to people's lives.
We support people to live safer, healthier and more fulfilling lives, treating everyone with kindness, respect and compassion. We work closely with local communities, providing care at every stage of life, especially for those who need us most.
Listening, Learning, Improving
We know we haven't always got everything right. That's why we are committed to learning and improving. We have listened to:
- People who use our services
- Families and carers
- Our local communities
- Our colleagues
What you've told us has helped shape our strategy and set out our plan on how we can improve care together.
Our pledges to you are
- Patients first - We put patients first, caring for people as they wish to be treated, with patients, families and carers leading and shaping decisions.
- Joined up care - We join up care, working together locally to provide care and security to people in our communities.
- Supporting our people - We support our people with the training, tools and compassionate leadership they need to do their best work.
- Resources - We use our resources wisely and responsibly to support people most in need at the right time.
These pledges reflect what our patients, carers and families and communities expect from us alongside what colleagues have told us they need to do a good job, to feel supported, trusted and valued. Within the resources available, and with financial sustainability as a principle, this is our commitment - to care first, to work as one Trust and to build a future we can all be proud of.
