Patient and Carer Feedback Support Volunteer

Role purpose

As a Patient and Carer Feedback Support Volunteer , you will play a crucial role in helping Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust gather valuable insights and feedback from our stakeholders.

Your contributions will directly impact our continuous improvement efforts, allowing us to enhance our services, programs, and overall performance. 

This volunteer position offers an excellent opportunity to develop communication skills, gain experience in data collection and analysis, and make a positive impact within the community.

    • Attendance at Patient Forum Meetings (Face / Face).
    • Attendance at monthly Care Group Meetings (Face / Face).

    • Volunteers must commit to a minimum of 6 months.

Patient Experience Feedback Volunteer (Inpatient)

Role purpose

The volunteer role for patient experience is to support the hospital in obtaining feedback from patients, service users and carers regarding the experience that they have as a patient or family member, carer of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

  • Location: To be located in one of our inpatient services across the Trust.
  • Time commitment:
    • To be agreed with service
    • Volunteers must commit to 2 hours a week for a minimum of six months

Quality Standard Audit Volunteer

Role purpose

Volunteers are required to assist clinical and non-clinical colleagues in the collection of feedback from patients in clinical settings to ensure that the Fundamental Standards of quality and safety are being met.

Patient Experience Feedback Volunteer (Telephone)

Role purpose

The volunteer role for patient experience is to support the hospital in obtaining feedback from patients, service users and carers regarding the experience that they have as a patient or family member, carer of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Volunteers would be required to speak to patients by phone, to ask them about their experience and to listen and record their responses either on our online Patient Experience Survey form or as a Care Opinion story.

  • Time commitment:
    • Days/Times Flexible
