Our Secondary events provide a dynamic and insight-led space for Mental Health Leads to explore the complex challenges facing young people and strengthen support within their schools.

 

You can expect:

• Sharing of student voices and lived experiences, helping you better understand how young people experience mental health support and how to respond effectively
• Exploration of key adolescent themes, such as social media, peer relationships, life transitions and general mental health and wellbeing
• Opportunities for peer discussion and reflection, supporting shared learning across secondary settings
• Practical guidance on approaches, student support, and strengthening school culture

The areas above are examples of topics that have been explored previously. We aim to refresh and evolve the content each year, ensuring sessions remain relevant, responsive to emerging needs, and shaped by feedback from schools and young people.

These sessions are designed to support you in building a responsive, student-informed approach to mental health, empowering both staff and young people within your school community.
