General health


GP (Doctor) Registration

Dental health

It is important to have good oral health whatever your health needs. Care leavers can access free NHS dental treatment up to age 25. Specialist community dental services are available for people with additional needs.

Eye care

It is important for all young people to have good eye health and ensure you have the right visual support where needed. Care leavers can access free NHS eye tests up to age 25 and some people with specific health conditions can access free eye tests (e.g. Diabetes).

Support for care leavers


Free Prescriptions

Care leavers are entitled to free prescriptions until age 25. Speak with your Personal Advisor for support with applying for a Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC).
