Only visit your local Emergency Department for serious life-threatening conditions that need immediate medical attention including persistent severe chest pain, loss of consciousness, acute confused state, severe breathlessness, severe blood loss, serious burns or suspected stroke.
The Nutrition and Dietetic Service provides therapeutic dietetic advice to people with a range of dietary issues including diabetes, malnutrition, enteral feeding, coronary heart disease, gastroenterology, food allergies, obesity and elderly care.
The service provides care in a variety of ways from individual to group education and is available to all ages.
To use this service, your GP or health care professional will need to refer you.
All health professionals can refer patients via Systmone. Referrals to be sent to Nutrition and Dietetic Service.
