Family Ambassador Service
The Family Ambassador Service supports parents and carers of young people using CAMHS inpatient or Community Enhanced Services.
The team have lived experience themselves. They offer emotional support, practical advice, signposting and advocacy. Their aim is to help families feel heard, informed and confident.
Family Ambassadors work separately from the clinical team but stay closely linked. This helps communication and makes sure the voice of parents and carers is included in all care decisions.
