Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT)
We provide a 24 hour, seven day crisis resolution service that offers assessments to people with significant mental illness who would otherwise be admitted to hospital.
This includes short term home treatment in order to minimise the risk of you being admitted to hospital and providing support to achieve recovery from crisis at home.
Our team is made up of a range of healthcare professionals including:
- Doctors
- Nurses
- Occupational therapists
- Support workers
- Non-medical prescribers
We aim to discharge you to the most appropriate services to meet your needs within six weeks of referral.
We also help you to leave hospital sooner by providing intensive support in your own home.
This service is for men and women aged between 18 and 65. We may also take referrals for patients over 65 who have already been accessing mental health services.
