International Women's Day: 8 March
Today, 8 March, we’re celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD), a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
This year’s theme is 'Choose To Challenge.'
We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements and we can all help to create an inclusive world. From challenge comes change, so let’s all choose to challenge.

Karen Ceesay, Head of Workforce Transformation talks about her involvement in the vaccination programme and how she felt extremely privileged and proud to be part of a programme which was so monumental on a global and national scale.
Marie Winter, Trustwide Covid Testing and Vaccination Nurse, shares how she has played a key part in supporting the vaccination programme and how she has felt extremely valued that her skills have been recognised.
