Trust colleague recognised as sustainability leader with prestigious ISEP Fellowship

We are celebrating the achievement of Lynn Walker, Head of Sustainability, who has been awarded Fellowship of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP) - one of the highest levels of professional recognition for expertise, leadership and innovation in sustainability.

Fellow membership recognises significant professional contribution, experience and expertise, and demonstrates the impact individuals are making within the sustainability profession. Lynn's achievement follows a rigorous assessment process, including a 2,000-word submission, CV review and a one-hour interview with two ISEP Fellows. She was assessed against 13 core competencies covering areas including core knowledge, technical skills and sustainable leadership.

Lynn Walker, Head of Sustainability said: "I'm incredibly proud to have been awarded Fellowship of ISEP. It was a rigorous process and having my experience, knowledge and contribution assessed against 13 core competencies made this a really meaningful achievement. Sustainability is something I'm hugely passionate about, and I'm proud to be able to use my experience to help make a difference within healthcare.

"To receive such positive feedback from my assessors was particularly special. They recognised my ability to influence and communicate at all levels, alongside my passion, strategic approach and commitment to supporting others. I'm also very proud to be one of only a small number of Fellows working within the healthcare sector."

Dawn Chambers, Strategic Director of Estates and Facilities at the Trust said: "This is a fantastic achievement for Lynn and a real reflection of the expertise, passion and leadership she brings to sustainability. Sustainability is increasingly important to the future of healthcare, and the work of colleagues like Lynn is helping us think differently about how we deliver our services, use our resources and make a positive difference for our people, patients, communities and the environment.

"Lynn should be incredibly proud of this recognition. Her Fellowship is not only a significant personal achievement, but also something that reflects positively on the Trust and the important contribution our people are making to the wider sustainability profession."
