Local Mental Health Teams
We have 11 Local Mental Health Teams. They support adults aged 18 to 65 across Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire County and Bassetlaw.
Our teams are made up of different professionals, including:
- Mental health nurses
- Occupational therapists
- Psychologists
- Psychiatrists
- Community support workers
- Peer support workers
- Employment specialists

Who we support
We support people with many different mental health needs. Some people need help fora short time. Others may need longer-term support and a care plan.
We also work closely with carers and families. Our staff are trained to support people during times of severe mental illness and to help them on their own recovery journey.

Accessing our services
All referrals are received from GPs.
Contact and find us
The Local Mental Health Teams can be contacted Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Each team offer appointments at their respective centres and in the community. There is limited free parking on site for disabled patients and staff who are in possession of their blue badge. Patients, where these circumstances do not apply, will be required to park elsewhere. Additionally, there is a free car park for staff use only. Please be mindful that it can be difficult to find a space at busy times.

Should your concern relate to a service user currently known to the team then please contact the team directly on the contact numbers outlined within working hours. Outside of office hours, contact the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, your GP surgery or NHS 111.
