Help us choose the future look and feel of our Children, Young People and Families services
Thank you to everyone who took part in our recent engagement activity to help shape the future identity of our Children, Young People and Families services. Following your ideas, experiences and feedback, a small number of concept branding options have now been created, and we would like your help to tell us what you think.
When developing these concepts, we wanted to ensure the new look and feel is relatable, inclusive and accessible to everyone. It was important that the designs promote hope and reassurance, while also recognising that healthcare is not always happy or positive. Our services support young people through a wide range of emotions and experiences, and the visual identity needs to reflect that honestly and sensitively.
Through engagement, a number of key words stood out as feelings we want the branding to represent: hope, support, safety, calm, growth and confidence. These values have guided the design concepts you will now see.
Trees emerged as a strong and meaningful symbol during the development process. Trees weather storms, change with the seasons and continue to grow, which reflects the journeys many children and young people experience. They also connect to nature and grounding, themes that many people associate with wellbeing. Trees have a strong local relevance too, with links to Nottinghamshire through Sherwood Forest and the Major Oak, as well as connections to Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, including service names such as Hopewood.
We would now really value your feedback. Please take a moment to look at the concept branding options and let us know which ones you like most, and why. Your views will help shape the final design and ensure it truly reflects the people who use and support our services.
