Totter + Tumble donate play mats to Hopewood’s Mother and Baby Unit
Families at the Margaret Oates Mother and Baby Unit (MBU) at Hopewood, Nottingham, are enjoying new play mats thanks to a generous donation from Totter + Tumble through their Play Matters campaign.
The donation was made as part of Totter + Tumble's commitment to supporting families in healthcare settings through their Play Matters campaign, which aims to make play spaces more comfortable and accessible for children in need of care and comfort.
Totter + Tumble, who design beautifully crafted, memory foam play mats, donate to hospitals, hospices and charitable settings across the UK to help provide safe and comfortable spaces for little ones to play and explore.
The mats, which are durable, wipe-clean and feature gentle, calming designs, are already proving a welcome addition to the unit, which supports mothers experiencing mental health difficulties while helping them bond with and care for their babies.
Deborah Sells, Ward Manager on the MBU said, We're so grateful to Totter + Tumble for their thoughtful donation. The new play mats have made a real difference to our environment, creating a warm and welcoming space for our mothers and babies to spend quality time together. Having a safe and comfortable area for play helps support those important early interactions and enhances the sense of calm within the ward.
The Nottinghamshire Healthcare Charity would like to thank Totter + Tumble for their kindness and support in helping to make a difference to families at the Mother and Baby Unit.
