Nottinghamshire Healthcare is delighted to launch its OSCARS again for the twentieth year. The OSCARS (outstanding service contribution and recognition scheme) recognises the many fantastic achievements of the Trust’s staff and volunteers.

Ifti Majid, Chief Executive of Nottinghamshire Healthcare said:

“Celebrating the many achievements of our incredible colleagues is so very important to us. They work exceptionally hard and deserve this opportunity to have their work recognised.

“I am delighted we have launched the OSCARS again, and we look forward to receiving the nominations, demonstrating how valued our colleagues are for the fantastic work they do”

There are eleven categories to choose from including unsung hero, outstanding care, team of the year and volunteer of the year awards. Nominations are welcome from patients, carers, family members, and anyone who has had contact with our staff or volunteers and feels they deserve an award.

Nigel Sarsfield, Senior Technical Support Engineer, a winner from 2022, said “It was amazing just to be nominated by my colleagues, let alone win. It really meant the world to me that people appreciate what I do and that it was recognised in this way.”

Have you or a relative received outstanding care? Have you come across members of our staff or volunteers who have gone above and beyond to make your experience better? Nominate them today on our website: OSCARS (nottinghamshirehealthcare.nhs.uk)
