We are Disability Confident
We are pleased to continue our progress with equality, diversity and inclusion by achieving level 2 of the Disability Confident employer scheme.
Disability Confident is a central government scheme, led by the Department of Work and Pensions, which has replaced the Two Ticks disability scheme.
This award followed the completion of a detailed self-assessment on disability issues within the workplace. It recognised that we have in place all of the core actions required to be a Disability Confident employer, and are taking considered steps to continue to develop and retain the right people for our workforce.
We will look to build on the good practice we have demonstrated and review our progress, with a view to applying for level 3, the Disability Confident Leader, in the future.
